Administrative Assistant
QC - Montreal
Engage2Excel group is looking for a professionally-dynamic person to join our Direct Costs of Sales team in Canada. The production assistant provides support directly to the Manufacturing Manager with the coordination of operational administrative duties. Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all orders. Oversee daily inventory for the manufacturing group. Measurement, monitoring, and reporting on product quality and packaging of finished goods.
KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform various administrative duties and support lead hands and management team with various administrative tasks
- Follow up with internal departments and external partners
- Maintain and update various documents (Excel, PPT, Word)
- Track, control and organize inventory
- Perform, document and track inventory cycle counts
- Organize and manage departmental orders and finished goods stock room
- Assist with quality control and packaging of finished goods
- Maintain and adhere to safe work habits and all applicable safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Skills Required:
Minimum qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative field
- Advanced knowledge of Office Suite (O365) and SharePoint
- Organized, independent, and a high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi task
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks and prepare balanced decisions
- Strong communication skills
Preferred requirements
- Equivalent to secondary school (High School)
- Have a background in office support in a Manufacturing industry
- Experience in reviewing and creating controlled documents
- Experience with managing inventories
- Willingness to learn and motivation to grow within a company will be the perfect fit

- Deadline and detail-oriented

- Accurately completes all appropriate production documentation
- Assist with investigations and communicate any quality issues/concerns.

Working Conditions
- Work will primarily be within an office setting and secondarily in a factory setting
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion and stand up to 75% of the work day.
Language Requirement
- Intermediate to advanced competency levels in both French and English
