To be a good fit for the DevOps Engineer opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a contributing member of engineering the company’s next-generation platform. You will play a key role in the success of our product as we focus to shorten the process of development to delivery. You'll work on various platforms and on the implementation of solutions using configuration/deployments automation. In addition, you'll be responsible for the design and implementation of solutions using configuration/deployments automation.

In addition to the qualifications described under The Requirements tab, you will need:
  • A solid understanding of network protocols and common services.
  • Mastery in CI/CD with emphasis on managing secrets, tokens, certificates, and pipeline security.
  • Expertise with Git-based version control.
  • Experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Azure using Terraform, etc.
  • Good knowledge of security practices (DevSecOps).
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, python, bash).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such (ELK, Azure Monitor, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure networking knowledge for DNS, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, S2S VPN, Traffic Manager, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, etc.
  • Experience with Azure API Management configuration and APIM DEV Portal setup.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.

  • Proven track record in system integration and design and setup of Infrastructure as a Service and/or Platform as a Service deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.

Our preference is that you are based in the Montreal area, and we also will consider qualified candidates in other areas of Quebec. If you are based remotely, you'll need to travel to Montreal on occasion. We'll look to you to be flexible about working evenings and weekends as necessary.

More about the Role
In addition to the responsibilities described under The Role tab, you will:
  • Contribute to the company's strategy for continuous delivery and high availability.
  • Remain at the forefront of the latest Build/Release tooling technologies and systems to manage software releases into production.
  • Build, scale, and secure application infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform.
  • Responsible for managing, orchestrating, and optimizing services at both the container and application services level.
  • Analyze existing application monitoring processes and make improvements for continuous and proactive monitoring.
  • Interpret and apply security best practices to create, harden and secure OS images and secure / harden CI/CD pipelines.
