To be a good fit for the Business Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or product owner
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with UX/UI/usability considerations for web and/or mobile solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with at least two (2) years of experience communicating with cross-functional departments and teams

In addition to the qualifications described under The Requirements tab, the following is highly preferred:
  • Business Analyst, Product Owner, Agile or Scrum certifications
  • Knowledge of eCommerce, supply chain systems and order lifecycles
  • Familiarity with B2B integrations, REST APIs
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR-related data
  • Knowledge of Tableau / data science & analytics
  • Experience with global concepts: currencies, languages, localization, cultural factors
The following is a plus:
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira etc.
  • Development/scripting experience, familiarity working with databases
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and/or native solutions
  • Experience working in a highly diverse, globally distributed team environment
  • Experience in a product/platform development environment
  • Written / oral proficiency in language(s) other than English
Our strong preference is that you are based in the Montreal area, but we also will consider highly qualified candidates in a remote situation.

More about the Role
In addition to the responsibilities described under The Role tab, you will:
  • Conduct interviews, requirements gathering sessions and independent research to gather detailed and comprehensive functional requirements
  • Document requirements in a clear and unambiguous manner using visuals, charts, examples, etc. as needed
  • Communicate requirements to a variety of audiences including product owners, architects, developers and test engineers
  • Assist teams throughout the software development lifecycle acting as the subject matter expert and business representative
  • Assist in user story creation, user acceptance testing and other product management activities
