To be a good fit for the Scrum Master opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant discipline
  • 3+ years of project management or Scrum Master experience
  • Strong Agile Scrum knowledge and demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of ALM and project management tools including MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc. Quick question for you - click here

More about the Role
In addition to the responsibilities described under The Role tab, you will:
  • Build out a project plan and a project schedule to deliver on our SaaS platform initiative
  • Guide and coach the Scrum team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers
  • Lead teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
  • Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
  • Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams
  • Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
  • Facilitate and support all scrum events, including sprint planning, daily Scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
  • Collaborate with Development, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and processes
  • Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in across functional teams
  • Motivate all team members to deliver high-quality projects within committed time and budget
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals while delegating responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback
  • Provide project status reports to appropriate stakeholders
