To be a good fit for the Project Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • University Degree in Project Management, Commerce, Computer Science or any related field; we may also consider outstanding relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience, ideally in Human Resources
  • Experience in a client-facing role as the main point of contact
  • An understanding of industry trends, development principles, and project methodologies 
  • Understanding of technical terminology with regards to transactional sites
  • Experience coordinating, encouraging, and motivating cross-functional teams and clearly communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfort having complex conversations with clients and internal teams

Reporting to the PMO Manager, as Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects in the recognition space from kickoff through launch. You will collect, analyze and document client requirements, including technical specifications, and work with the cross-functional team to deliver solutions that meet clients' specific objectives and goals while also managing the project scope, timeline and budget. More about the role
In addition to the responsibilities described under The Role tab, as part of your specific tasks, you will:
  • Plan, execute, monitor and control assigned projects
  • Define and scope client requirements and deliverables
  • Provide project leadership by overseeing and directing the project activities, coordinate assignment of appropriate resources and ensure proper task completion
  • Serve as the central point of communication and coordination for the project
  • Proactively manage stakeholder communications and expectations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation
  • Make decisions regarding issues escalated by the project team or key stakeholders and escalate issues and risks when appropriate
  • Identify deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, initiating change requests as needed
  • Ensure project processes and deliverables quality. Control quality by reviewing deliverables prior to client presentation; suggest process improvements as appropriate
  • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects; share findings with the PMO
About your success
While technical acumen and understanding are key, you won't speak at a high technical level with the client. Instead, you'll take a consultative approach to understanding their needs and translating those needs for our internal technical teams. Additionally, to be an outstanding Project Manager, you will be:
