You act as a key partner within the HR function, helping to operationalize HR priorities and support the effective management of workplace matters in alignment with Canadian employment standards, with a strong emphasis on Quebec laws and regulations.
Working closely with the HR leader, you will serve as a trusted right hand, helping to manage priorities, navigate complex employee situations, and ensure strong execution across HR initiatives. Your ability to bring structure, discretion, and business insight will directly contribute to the effectiveness and credibility of the HR function.

- Manage employee relationships cases, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations
- Ensure HR practices comply with Canadian standards, with a strong focus on Quebec laws
- Support the HR leader on key priorities and sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
- Act as a reliable right hand, bringing structure, organization, and consistent follow-through
- Oversee multiple HR files with strong documentation and a focus on risk mitigation
- Contribute to HR initiatives and programs that support business goals
- Support compliance activities such as Bill 90 and Pay Equity (considered an asset)
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen overall practices
