About the role
Engage2Excel Group is actively looking for a Shipping Clerk. This is a manual handling, labor-intensive job. You will prepare items for shipment, compare identity information and count, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of lading, invoices, orders or other records. You will keep records of outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Packs wrapped or packaged products into shipping containers / pallets; inserts items into boxes, cartons, crates, etc.; seals, glues, labels, and stencils shipping containers to ensure closure and proper protection and identification using proper padding as required.

Prints and scans packing slips and ensures the packing slip is attached to the proper order.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Partial secondary school or high school, or equivalent education
- 6 months – 1 year of warehouse-relevant experience
- The ability to safely operate mobile equipment (such as a forklift)
- Experience using a computer to complete basic functions, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and the ability and willingness to learn other programs / platforms as required
