About the role
Engage2Excel is actively looking for a dynamic person to join our Finance and Accounting team to fill a position for a Full-Time job as a
Financial Business Analyst that will be responsible for reviewing, preparing and analyzing various financial statements and account reconciliation for proper reporting. Report both to the FP&A team as well as directly to the operations team.
The candidate must reside in India and preferably located in Bangalore to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with the various time zones. Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Help prepare financial statements and perform various account and bank reconciliation/analysis while ensuring compliance with internal financial/accounting policies/practices.
- Assist in preparing US/Canadian Tax reporting and in reviewing and preparing monthly financials.
- May assist in prepaid and fixed assets analysis, sales and bill of material report, purchase accrual report, inventory compilation and other ad-hoc reporting.
- Analyze standard and actual costs for variances and report variances to management for decision making purposes. Produce various monthly and year end financial reporting.
- Participate in supplier integration, upload and checks.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience is required. Prior cost and/or inventory experience strongly preferred.
- Computer literacy and proficient in Excel (including micros, VLookUp, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task, Excellent data review and processing skills
- Strong problem solving and analytic mind, and ability to investigate issues independently.
