Job Purpose
Helps create online recognition tools and experiences that support our clients’ bottom-line results. Our goal: help our clients foster a more engaged, committed, successful, and appreciated workforce through the online recognition tools that we develop. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and contemporary design, be fully aware of emerging UX/UI mobile/desktop trends and responsive design, and be able to translate high-level requirements into visual solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
Collaborate and partner with Creative, Product Management and IT development teams to define and implement innovative online recognition solutions
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to UI developers
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes/prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback as needed
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Obsessive attention to detail – first impressions matter in our business?
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
- 3 – 5 years experience in a senior UX/UI design role
- Proven UI experience with a focus on mobile/responsive design
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency/Understanding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders.Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Handle feedback from stakeholders and clients in a positive manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/understanding of coding (jQuery, JavaScript, React) preferred
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Desired Behaviors
Works well in a team environment – handles feedback on design concepts well – strong attention to detail and a desire to learn/evolve as technology and user trends change.

Working Conditions
- Somewhat flexible schedule – but we need the someone who can commit to 3 days per week in the Attleboro MA facility.
