Job Purpose
Collects, formats and codes customer’s data to be loaded into the computer system in order to generate personalized awards and OMNI solicitation materials.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Receives daily exported files from clients. Validate information and manipulate information into platform requirements. Loads data into system and validates output to ensure expected results were achieved.
- Advanced excel skills/ability required to manipulate client data, using macros and advanced Excel functions to prepare files for upload.
- Validate supplemental fields and offering criteria to ensure files match program requirements. Discrepancies may result in file manipulation or program changes.
- Validate ship to addresses on client data files against JDE. If missing, create new ship to’s in JDE.
- Authority to turn calendar schedules to alert next department that data has been loaded. Verify correct task is being turned and build new schedules if necessary (additions, etc.)
- Carefully reads program ‘notes’ and follows any specific instructions, i.e., shipping info, recipient info, offering criteria, etc. Thorough understanding of instructions is important and will necessitate manual steps for processing data load.
- Provide daily log-in and password reports as requested. Process GENSO for email solicitations. Send request for emails for past anniversary dates. Provide certificate list to purchasing for component ordering if applicable.
- Process refresh files. Compare revised data files to data in system.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience in data manipulation
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- JDE experience would be added advantage.
- Any certification in Excel would be an added benefit.

Prioritizes work to meet deadlines. (skills required to determine which data files to process first, working in rushes, additions, and handling changes received daily). Data files are expected to be processed within the number of days as stated with in the Process Objectives.
Requires independent decision making as each file is different and must be manipulated fit standard guidelines. File load errors must be at a minimum and will be monitored against Process Objectives.
Working Conditions
Standard business hours with the option to telecommute occasionally. Some overtime may be required during evenings and occasional weekend.
