Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will perform responsibilities for risk activities impacting Information Security. Perform duties in the areas of audit, compliance and IT risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Developing policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements FOR PCI-DSS, HIPPA, and SSAE-18
Coordinate validation efforts for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity program
Support and monitor the security posture of the business, conducting/coordinating security control audits, identifying potential gaps/risks, and ensuring compliance risks that could compromise company information
Technical understanding of security controls required to meet policy, regulatory, or legal requirements
Develop, execute, and manage process for risk and control assessment of business processes and services to ensure that they align with security policies and objectives. Identify, measure, and report security metrics of value. Report results along with recommendations to close any gaps.
Participate in client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1+ years of IT data security experience required; knowledge of IT security frameworks, industry regulations, and standards, ISO, NIST, PCI and their associated security controls
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Experience with the developing information security policies and Processes
Prior experience with internal auditing of security controls with PCI/HIPPA/SSAE-18 Security audits
Background and history in developing, documenting, and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards.
Technical knowledge of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and network protocol concepts.
