Job Purpose
Research new products / suppliers to maintain the overall corporate product catalog, identify which items should be placed in which programs while working to maintain corporate margin objectives and partner with suppliers to identify new products or negotiate pricing.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Source and research new products for OMNI, Custom and other programs that reflect current trends in the market, as well as items requested by clients.

- Maintain program margin requirements based upon preset cost targets, retail targets and street targets on all products, as defined by the Pricing Department.
|
- Work with suppliers to identify products that will enhance our product offering, as well as negotiate pricing.
|
- Provide internal departments with data necessary to complete item and program setups, such as all product details / supplier details, specifications, warranty, images and pricing comparative information.
|
- Work with Creative, Pricing, Engineering and OMNI team on new program setups. Proof image and copy files, and generate master product lists for Pricing, Engineering, Creative and OMNI teams.

- Generate Production Information Bulletins to communicate award changes.
|
- Develop specific program offerings based upon budgets, perceived value, customers’ requests / restrictions, product balance and category representation.

- Attend Industry trade shows to identify new suppliers and products

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years prior experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of Experience

Independent self-starter and ability to prioritize multiple requests or tasks
Willing to learn new functions and participate in training exercises, as required
Able to work autonomously and finish projects on time
Strong interpersonal skills

Product categories are reflective of the most current awards available. Suppliers are providing product on time and at agreed upon cost. Program margins are being maintained on annual basis. Product Tracker report for the Sourcing Managers categories are current and up to date (no item older than 2 months open on the report,
except for any extenuating circumstances on products where they need to be over 2 months old.).
Working Conditions
Normal working hours, but overnight travel may be required.

This job requires use of hands continuously on a computer and is primarily a sitting role.
